Steve Ford is a local surfer/shaper from Encinitas California. I have never ridden one his boards myself, but I have seen a few guys ripping on his boards out at the campgrounds( not to mention the man himself). This is his Retro Fish, but dont be fooled, its not all Retro...this board is a Retro Fish with a modern high performance twist! The deep swallow combined with a vee off the tail enables this board to pivot and turn on a dime, yet its Retro outline allows it to draw long smooth arcs as well. And talk about paddling power, with plenty of volume in the foreward half of the board, these fishes will raise your wave count substantially.
