You can’t figure us out. Because if you could, then we’d just be like every other team out there. And that just ain’t gonna happen. To say that the Killer Dana surf and skate team are a diverse and original bunch of talented riders would be a grotesque understatement. Hideously grotesque. Not only do we support the local legends, traveling pros, international hellions and loud-mouthed groms, but we’d also like to think that each of our members have something else to offer besides their driven core skills as board enthusiasts.
Find out who loves to go bird-watching in the sultry desert and catch a rare glimpse of the ever reclusive black-throated sparrow. Who daydreams about being World Champ under a starry cloudless night? Who's ready to take on the grueling WQS and who would rather stay home and just chillax at San O.? Who is the mathelete that feels triumphant when he conquers a difficult calculus problem? Which grom has a terrible skin blemish and tries to cover it up with a piece of baloney? What pro surfer demands utter respect and silence when he’s watching “The Notebook”? Who in the team brags a little too much about their chopstick-using techniques? And which rider - though the incident occurred years ago - still can’t live down that one night when he, a wily dalmation, and a jar of raspberry jam had just a little too much fun.
